Reports from Mission New Zealand 2000 (Week 2)

During week 2 (2000/02/17-20), Julie ministered in several churches in Auckland, New Zealand.

Thursday (02/17)

Here are some reports of the Mt. Eden Ministerial Association meeting of Thursday, Feb. 17.

"Julie was a real blessing to our Ministers Association meeting.  She made a valuable contribution and then spoke the word God gave her for each of those present.  It was very encouraging and the power of God was manifested.

"Julie certainly operated under the anointing of God and people went away encouraged and blessed."

"God is using Julie in a powerful way to proclaim Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit, and there is a clear anointing on her life."

Julie preaching at Auckland City Elim ChurchThursday (02/17)

Auckland City Elim Women's Group hosted Julie.  Many young women responded to her message from the Word of God to step out into ministry.  A time of deep consecration in prayer followed.

The following is a report from this meeting:

"On Thursday 17th of February, Julie spoke at a women's meeting in the evening.  God totally showed up.  Some were emotionally healed, others God called and showed them part of their call, and still others sat mesmerized and challenged by the gospel at large, IN YOUR FACE!

"Do you know how good it feels to know that being a woman and a Christian are two amazing and powerful things?  So often women feel like they don't actually have much to offer a world sliding down the slippery slopes to hell.  But being affirmed - the way Julie affirmed us with the authority given to her by God - I can't imagine any woman leaving that meeting feeling two inches taller (if not more) and totally challenged by the Spirit of God.

"Julie opened the book of Ruth to us. ... the Holy Spirit hovered amongst us, stirring in us the excitement and potential that for many of us lay dormant.  There were times when He was so thick amongst us, magnifying the words Julie spoke, making them ring true in all our lives.  Personally I found it hard to sit still!

"The ministry time was awesome.  Many women came forward and received encouraging prayers and words.  Many of us looked like we'd been hit by a train, but it was okay because the Holy Spirit was driving!!  I know that one girl was healed of rejection and past hurts.  Praise God!  She spoke to me afterwards and said, "Everything that was just prophesied were answers to the questions I have been asking God all week - there is no way anyone could have known!  God is so good, God is so good!

"The worship was beautiful, the preaching was great and the Spirit of God was and IS awesome!  That night I know many women felt liberated and excited about the part they have to play in God's master plan.  Some were totally challenged, perhaps felt a little uncomfortable - but I reckon that the Spirit of God kinda likes us to be uncomfortable - it challenges us to grow, and grow we must!"

Julie ministering at Valley Road Church, Auckland, NZSunday (02/20)

Julie preached at Valley Road Church in Auckland.  After an impassioned sermon titled "Meeting Your Destiny", the front of the church was full with those desiring prayer to be released into ministry.

"The Lord has released me of all my sins and helped me forgive my family for all they have done against me!  I forgive them and thank the Lord with all my praise!"
