Reports from Mission New Zealand 2000 (Week 4)

During week 4 (2000/02/28-03/05), Julie ministered in Auckland & Environs

Sunday (03/05)

Julie preaching at Sandringham Christian Family Church Pastor Stephen Allen of the Sandringham Christian Family Church invited Julie for their Sunday morning service.  Julie preached on "The Gospel Compass", and many again many responded for prayer.  A time of refreshing in the Holy Spirit followed, and the power of the Lord was present in demonstrable ways.Julie praying at Sandringham Christian Family Church

"To whom it may concern,

"I take great pleasure in recommending Pastor Julie Young's ministry to you.  She brought a positive, no-compromise full-gospel message to our church with signs following.  Julie clearly has a desire to encourage local churches and pastors.  Her ministry in the prophetic was encouraging and uplifting.  I look forward to her returning to New Zealand."

In the evening, Julie preached at Ramah Elim Church in Otara.  This is a Samoan, bi-lingual church pastored by Rev. Sam Seiuli in the community that is largely made up of Pacific Island peoples.  There was a great move of God as people received healing in their lives and were encouraged to launch into ministry.  As in many other places, the prophetic gifts were in evidence as Julie preached and ministered.

"We are still amazed and so delighted in having this precious opportunity to meet you and for yourself to accept our invitation and made yourself available to come.  I have seen people's hearts touched and healed in many different ways as they came up front for prayers.

"One of our mothers ... has also commended on your simple English language that made her relate to the Gospel effectively, the way you delivered the Gospel was so simple and easy to understand as we are English Second language people -- our own native language is Samoan.

"We are awaiting for your coming back.  When you plan to come back to New Zealand, please ... keep us informed.

"Keep on doing the good work for Jesus, taking the Gospel to the nations and to God we give glory."
