South Pacific 2002 - the Solomon Islands Reports

One Man Gets It

Julie preaches in Lawson Tama Stadium, HoniaraA man from the Radio Station called early on Friday of the Campaign.  He explained that he had been recording Julie’s messages each night and had not been able to respond to Julie’s appeal for people to come and be saved.  Could he, he asked hesitantly, be told how to be saved?  A team member gladly obliged the man by telling him how to meet Christ and leading him in the sinner’s prayer over the phone.  It was like that in the islands.  The fruit sometimes fell off the trees.

Fisherman by the sea"The Lord’s presence was so real and I really felt the power of God through your team to us as you prayed, and laid hands on us.  That was so great I can’t explain it." Susan Laufilu, Honiara

"The Lord touched and changed my life, I find that my life is now different.  I came with burdens, but now Jesus Christ has set me free." George Capps, FM Campbell Makina

"I knew that Jesus took my sins away as I responded to Gods word." Wilmon Tapalia
